How to Install NetMirror on Android TV
- Open Google Play on your TV and install a file manager or the Downloader app.
- Go to Settings > Device Preferences > Security & restrictions.
- Turn on Unknown sources for the app you just installed.
- Use that app to download the NetMirror TV APK, or copy the file from a USB drive.
- Open the file and choose Install.
- Find NetMirror in your TV's app list.
Extra Step for Google TV
On Google TV devices, turn on Developer options first. Go to Settings > System > About and select Android TV OS build seven times. Then follow the steps above.
How to Install NetMirror on Firestick
- From the Firestick home screen, search for Downloader and install it.
- Go to Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options.
- Open Install unknown apps and turn it on for Downloader.
- Open Downloader, type this website's address and press Go.
- Select the download button and wait for the file.
- Choose Install, then Open.
- When Downloader asks, choose Delete to remove the APK and free up space.
If you can't see Developer Options, go to Settings > My Fire TV > About and click your device name seven times.
How to Cast NetMirror From Your Phone
If you'd rather not install anything on your TV, cast from your Android phone:
- Connect your phone and TV to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Open NetMirror on your phone and start a video.
- Tap the cast icon in the player and choose your TV.
- If there's no cast icon, swipe down on your phone, tap Cast or Smart View and pick your TV.
To stop casting, tap the cast icon again and select Disconnect.
Using NetMirror With a TV Remote
On Android TV and Firestick, use the arrow keys to move through the rows and the centre button to select. Press back to return to the previous screen. Some screens work best with touch, so if a menu is hard to reach, pair a wireless mouse or an air remote with your TV box.
Best Settings for TV Viewing
- Choose a higher quality in the player when your Wi-Fi is strong.
- Connect your TV box with an Ethernet cable if you can.
- Keep at least 1 GB free on your Firestick or TV box.
- Clear NetMirror's cache now and then from your TV's app settings.
Common TV Problems and Fixes
Video Buffers on TV
TV streams need more data. Switch servers first, then lower the quality. Moving your router closer or using a cable also helps.
Remote Doesn't Work in Some Menus
Move slowly with the arrow keys, or use a wireless mouse or air remote for easier control.
Downloader Won't Open the Page
Check the website address for typos, and make sure Install unknown apps is on for Downloader.
"Not Enough Storage" on Firestick
Uninstall apps you don't use and clear the cache of large apps under Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications.
Cast Icon Missing
Make sure your phone and TV use the same Wi-Fi. Restart both, or use your phone's built-in Cast or Smart View option.
How to Update NetMirror on Your TV
On Firestick, open Downloader, enter this website's address and install the newest file over the old one. On Android TV, download the new APK with your file manager and install it. Your watchlist stays in place.
