Download NetMirror for PC

Want Net Mirror on a bigger screen than your phone? NetMirror for PC works through a free Android emulator, a program that runs Android apps on Windows and some Macs. There's no separate desktop app. Once you set up the emulator, though, NetMirror works almost exactly like it does on a phone.

What Changes When You Watch on a Computer

On a Phone On a PC
Small touch screen Large monitor, or a TV through HDMI
Tap and swipe Mouse clicks and keyboard search
Limited storage Plenty of room for offline videos
Phone busy while watching Phone free for calls and messages

Picking an Emulator

You only need one. All three below are free:

Emulator Why Choose It
BlueStacks The easiest to set up, with lots of display and key options
LDPlayer Light on memory, so it suits older laptops
NoxPlayer Gives extra control if you like tweaking settings

Download your emulator only from its own official website, never from a pop-up or a "bundled" installer.

Will Your Computer Handle It?

Part Minimum Better Experience
Windows Windows 7 Windows 10 or 11
Memory 4 GB RAM 8 GB RAM or more
Disk space 5 GB free 10 GB free
Processor Dual-core Intel or AMD Newer multi-core Intel or AMD
Graphics Built-in graphics Up-to-date graphics drivers
Virtualisation Switched on in BIOS Switched on in BIOS

Emulators update often, so glance at the official requirements page before you install.

Install NetMirror With BlueStacks

  1. Get the installer from the BlueStacks website and run it.
  2. Open BlueStacks. When it asks for a Google account, you can skip it; NetMirror doesn't need one.
  3. Save the NetMirror APK somewhere easy to find, like your Desktop.
  4. Drag the APK onto the BlueStacks window. Or click Install APK in the side bar and choose the file.
  5. After a few seconds, the NetMirror icon appears on the BlueStacks home screen. Click it to open the app.

Install NetMirror With LDPlayer

  1. Download LDPlayer from its website and install it.
  2. Start LDPlayer and let the home screen load.
  3. Save the NetMirror APK to your computer.
  4. Drop the file onto the LDPlayer window, or press the APK button on the right-hand toolbar.
  5. Click the new NetMirror icon to start watching.

NetMirror on a Mac

BlueStacks makes a Mac edition, but it doesn't support every Mac model, so check its website first. If yours is on the list, the process matches Windows: install, drop in the APK, open NetMirror. If BlueStacks doesn't support your Mac, a Firestick or Android TV box is an easy way to watch on a big screen instead.

Speed Up the Emulator With Virtualisation

If the emulator feels sluggish, virtualisation is usually switched off. Here's how to turn it on:

  1. Restart the computer and tap the BIOS key as it starts up (often F2, F10, Del or Esc).
  2. Look in the CPU, Advanced or Security section.
  3. Find Intel Virtualization Technology, VT-x, SVM or AMD-V and set it to Enabled.
  4. Save and exit.

Every manufacturer's BIOS looks a little different, so your computer maker's support page is the best place to check if you get stuck.

Put NetMirror on Your TV Using Your PC

  1. Run an HDMI cable from your laptop or PC to the TV.
  2. Choose that HDMI input on the TV.
  3. On Windows, press Windows + P and pick Duplicate or Second screen only.
  4. Open NetMirror in the emulator and go full screen.

No sound from the TV? Right-click the speaker icon in Windows, open the sound settings and choose the TV as your output.

Fixing Emulator Problems

Everything Is Slow

Turn on virtualisation (see above), then raise the emulator's RAM and CPU allowance.

The Emulator Won't Launch

Hyper-V and other Windows features can clash with emulators. Install the emulator's Hyper-V-friendly edition, or switch Hyper-V off in Windows Features and restart.

The APK Won't Install

The file may be incomplete. Download it again and drop it in once more. If that fails, update the emulator.

Video Plays as a Black Screen

Open the emulator's display or engine settings and switch the graphics mode, such as OpenGL to DirectX, then restart it.

There's No Sound

Check the volume in Windows and inside the emulator, and pick the right speakers or headphones in Windows.

Removing It Later

To remove only NetMirror, right-click or long-press its icon inside the emulator and choose Uninstall. To remove the emulator completely, open Windows Settings > Apps, find it in the list and click Uninstall. That frees several gigabytes of disk space.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a Windows version of NetMirror?
No. The team builds NetMirror for Android only. On a computer, you run it inside an Android emulator.
Does it work on Windows 10 and Windows 11?
Yes. BlueStacks and LDPlayer both support Windows 10 and 11.
Is a "NetMirror.exe" download real?
No. Since there's no Windows version, any .exe file using the name isn't the real app.
Can I download videos on my PC?
Yes. The download button works inside the emulator, which keeps the videos in its own storage.
How much memory does my PC need?
At least 4 GB of RAM. With 8 GB, playback is noticeably smoother.
Do I have to sign in to Google?
No. You can skip the emulator's Google sign-in and still install the NetMirror APK.
